4 small onions chopped
3 tbsp oil
1 1/2 tsp curry powder
2 tsp ground cumin
2 cloves of garlic crushed
4 tbsp water
22,5 dkg cooked soybeans mashed
freshly chopped parsley
Fresh bread or rolls yumm!
Fry the onions in oil with curry, cumin and garlic until it's transparent
Add some water and cook 5-8 minutes
Add mashed beans, mix well and allow to cool. (I soak the beans for 15 hours and cook for at least two hours)
I've just realised that the recipe says spread it on fried bread (fried in oil), cut up into squares and serve with fresh parsley. I just baked some wholemeal rolls and spread it on that, and added spring onions, salt pepper and paprika to the spread and Joaozinho is pinching the third serving, so it can't be too bad!
