
For dinner I cooked 1/2 cup of millets in 1 cup of water and added a teaspoon of cinnamon, honey and sprinkled raisins, hazelnuts and almonds on it. The millets, nuts and dried fruit I chose are all alkaline and are really good for you if you're body has too much acid. The Hay-method not only mentions eating starches and proteins separately, but also encourages you to maintain a balance between acidic and alkaline foods.
